In late 2020 our factories became certified as Higg Compliant for Responsible Sourcing. Developed by the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, the Higg Index is a suite of tools that enables brands, retailers, and facilities of all sizes to accurately measure and score a company or product's sustainability performance. After completing the Higg assessments, all See Kai Run factories have been upgraded to “Better Business”. To get upgraded, a factory agrees to install machines that monitor the waste output at the factory level. A factory needs to maintain “zero” detection to keep their “Better Business” status.
